You must register with Caleb for ALL courses. To register, email Caleb with which course and date you would like to attend. He will contact you with further information. Courses with an "*" next to them require all student applications, waivers, deposits and other required documents to be turned in 30 calendar days prior to the class start date. Some courses will have specific student application deadlines and will be noted in their respective student information forms.

Coming Soon/New Courses for 2012
Extended Field Care: For those who have completed "Medic 1" and wanting to learn how to deal with medical emergencies in remote locations where response times for professional rescuers might be anywhere from one hour to several days. We discuss how to stabilize and transport the sick/injured using improvised and on-hand equipment. The subject of building improvised shelters, making your own bandages, litters, and splints. We also go into detail about environmental emergencies; heat/cold injuries, animal bites/stings, and how to prevent most of those injuries.
K9 Assessment & Treatment (KAT): If you’re a dog lover, work with a K9 unit, or take your dog along for the hunt; this class is for you. Lone Star Medics has teamed up with a highly respected Veterinarian to bring you this course in how to treat K9 emergencies. This course will teach you how to treat those injuries & illnesses which dogs encounter in the field, at work, and at play. Keep checking back at our schedule for more updates on dates and times…
Surgical Airway and Surgical Airway - Tactical: These two classes are for those healthcare professionals wanting to learn the latest techniques in surgical airway management including a tissue lab. More info coming...
Range Response: Not new but improved! If you're a firearms instructor, a range officer, or just you find yourself spending a lot of time on the shooting range; this one day course is just for you. Learn how to identify and treat common injuries related to being out on an outdoor/indoor range or while competing in that 3-gun match you've been training for all year.
Contingency Medical Force: If you are a personal security specialist, and executive protection is your profession; then this course should be part of your annual training this year. Add emergency medicine to your skillset when working in a non-forgiving work environment.
