Virtual Learning Courses

Live, online, inexpensive, interactive!

Let me break it down for you…

Time is the one resource none of us have enough of and we can’t buy more of it. These one-hour, live, online courses are designed for those who have limited time and still want to learn life-saving skills or subjects. While these courses don’t take the place of our in-person classes, they do allow you to learn new skills or refresh previously learned skills through the convenience of virtual learning. Each class is scheduled for one hour; dates and times to be determined and posted on the Events page.

Course subjects will vary with each class, and details will be posted on the Events page so you can choose which subjects or class you’d like to attend.

We will be using “Zoom” as the platform unless otherwise notified. There is no need to pay for setting up an account with Zoom to participate in these courses. Once registered through LSM, you’ll be provided with a link for that specific class (or “Meeting” as Zoom refers to it). On the date and time prescribed, click on that link and you will be prompted to the virtual meeting/Zoom waiting room.

Courses will start sharply at their scheduled times, but feel free to come and go as you wish. We will encourage participation from the audience, so come prepared with your questions and be ready for your instructor to check your work as you go. Depending on class size and time, the instructor will try to make on-the-spot corrections during the hands-on skills practice sessions. There will be time set aside for Q&A at the end of each class. A list of recommended training aids will be posted with each class, but they are not required.

Courses are $25 each.
You must register through the LSM website’s registration page to attend.
