Subject for this week:  Eye Injuries & Types of Shock

Eye injuries may LOOK bad, but they’re not really once you SEE them from the right point of view. There are different types of shock and levels of shock; we’ll talk about them in detail.

During this 1.5hr “Lunch & Learn” we’ll cover various subjects related to field medicine.  While you enjoy great food made from scratch (and a pint if you wish) nestled deep in the relaxing beer garden of Lochland’s; Caleb will guide discussions, coach you through some skills, review your med kit with you, and maybe even share a story or two.

Learn infection control and wound irrigation techniques. A small cut in the field may seem harmless at first, but if not properly dealt with it could prove life-threatening a few days later. We’ll cover different wound closure techniques in Part II; but trust me, you’re gonna wanna have this Part I under your belt first.
